- Fly out through the green exit and grab the 3 ⭐ on the way.
A paper plane game
Everyone has folded a paper airplane and thrown it across a room. Paper Plane Flight lets you do it again and again, through a whole house and out into the backyard. You throw your plane, then guide it with one button: hold to pull the nose up, let go to dive. The aim is to glide all the way across the room and out through the open window or door, the green exit, without touching the floor, the furniture or the hanging lamps.
How a paper plane glides
A paper plane has no engine, so it trades height for speed. When you pull the nose up, the plane climbs, but it slows down, and if it gets too slow the nose drops and it starts to sink. When you dive, it loses height but picks up speed. Good flying is a rhythm: a little dive to build speed, a gentle pull-up to stretch the glide, and another dive before you get too slow. The air helps too: blue air from floor fans, heaters and vents pushes the plane up, while ceiling fans push it down.
Twelve rooms
Start in the Bedroom, sail Over the Wardrobe on the air from a floor fan, and weave between the hanging lamps of the Kitchen. Climb Up the Stairs, dodge the ceiling fan in the Living Room and glide over the desks of the Classroom. The Hallway Slalom is a zigzag of walls, the Library makes you thread gaps between tall shelves, and the Garage has a car, boxes and shelves. Then the plane escapes outside: the Backyard, the Windy Park with gusts that push you around, and the colourful School Fair, full of balloons and poles.
Throwing
Before each flight, drag back from the plane like a slingshot: the further you drag, the harder the throw, and the dotted line shows where it will go. Or aim with the up and down arrows and press Space. A strong, slightly upward throw is usually best, but some rooms need a gentle, low throw to pass under the first obstacle.
Stars and planes
Each room has three gold stars. Fly out through the exit to clear the room and keep the stars you grabbed: one star for clearing it, and three when you collect them all. Stars unlock new planes: the Newspaper plane, the Rainbow Glider and the Golden Wing.
Long Throw
In Long Throw there is no exit: an endless hallway of obstacles and fans stretches ahead, and the only goal is to fly as far as you can. Your longest throw is saved.
Tips
Do not hold the button all the time: the plane will climb, slow down and stall. Short taps keep it level. Use the fans: fly into the blue air and let it carry you up, then dive out of it with speed. Stay away from pink downdraft air under ceiling fans. Line up with the exit early, so you are at the right height when you reach the wall.
Great for kids
Paper Plane Flight uses one button, is calm and friendly, and teaches a real idea about gliding: height and speed can be swapped. A crash is just a crumpled plane and you can throw again straight away. It runs in any modern browser on computers, Chromebooks, tablets and phones with no download or account, and progress is saved only in your browser. See the Parents & Safety page for more.
