📦 Drone Delivery City
Pick up parcels, climb over the rooftops, mind the battery and deliver every order on time.
How to play
- Fly with W A S D or the arrow keys (or drag with your thumb).
- Climb with Space and descend with Shift or C (or the ⬆️ ⬇️ buttons). Buildings are tall: climb above them!
- Pick up: hover low over the orange 📦 depot until the yellow ring fills.
- Deliver: fly to the green drop spot (garden or rooftop) and hover low over it.
- Watch the 🔋 battery. Flying high uses more power. Sit on a green ⚡ pad to recharge.
- Avoid birds and the red no-fly zone. Quick deliveries earn tips; spend coins on upgrades.
A drone delivery game
Drone Delivery City puts you in charge of a little delivery drone on its first week of work. The orders roll in: books for Ava, a cake for Leo, medicine for Nora, a pizza for the people on the roof of the tall tower downtown. You fly to the orange depot, hover low until the parcel clips on, then race across the city to drop it in the right garden or on the right rooftop pad. Every order has a timer, and customers love a quick delivery: arrive early and they add a tip.
It looks simple from above, but the city is full of things to think about. The buildings are tall, and your drone cannot fly through walls, so you need to climb above the rooftops. Flying high uses more battery, and the battery does not last forever. Gusts of wind push you off course, flocks of birds cross the sky, and there is a red no-fly zone around the airport where drones are not allowed.
Height, buildings and batteries
The view is from above, but the world has height. Each building shows its height in metres when you get close, the drone's shadow shows how high you are, and the altitude gauge on the right tells you exactly. Press Space to climb and Shift or C to descend. Fly just high enough to clear the buildings on your route, because the higher you go, the faster the battery drains. When the battery gets low, the game points you to the nearest green ⚡ charging pad: land on it and watch the battery fill. If it runs out completely, your drone glides down, the parcels go back to the depot and you lose some time.
Eight workdays
Each day adds something new. First Day is easy deliveries to gardens. Rooftops adds orders to rooftop pads on tall buildings. Windy Tuesday brings gusts. Double Load lets you carry two parcels at once, so you can plan a route. Downtown sends you between the tall towers. Lunch Rush has orders arriving fast. Stormy has the strongest wind, and Big Sale is the busiest day of the year. Each day gives up to three stars: one for delivering enough parcels, two for every order, and three for every order on time.
Upgrades
Deliveries and tips earn coins, and coins buy upgrades between shifts: a bigger battery for longer trips, stronger motors for more speed, an extra cargo slot so you can carry more parcels, and a long hook that makes picking up and dropping off easier. Stars unlock new drone designs: Parcel Pro, Eco Buzz and Night Courier.
Rush Hour
In Rush Hour there is no target, just four minutes and a stream of orders. Deliver as many parcels as you can. Your best score is saved.
Tips for top couriers
Look at the order list before you set off: carry two parcels going the same way, not opposite ways. Climb only as high as you need. Stop moving before you try to pick up or drop off; the yellow ring only fills while you hover slowly. Steer around the airport's red circle instead of cutting through it. And recharge before the battery gets really low, especially if you are carrying parcels a long way.
Great for kids
Drone Delivery City is calm and friendly: there is no violence, nothing scary, and the worst that happens is a late pizza. It is great practice for planning routes, managing a resource and reading heights and timers. It runs in any modern browser on computers, Chromebooks, tablets and phones with no download or account, and progress is saved only in your browser. See the Parents & Safety page for more.
